It has been announced today that the British Film Institute are going to carry out an investigation on the current state of British independent films. This is a much needed report after the level of production of films has been dropping and the desire to produce good TV content. The report could make a difference as did the previous Relph report on lowering production costs. We feel there needs to be sustainable business models for British Independent films. The films need to find their voice and have a clear audience. What do you think would improve the independent film sector?
